Our Story

Tandoori Grill is the story of two people who took very different roads — and ended up exactly where they were meant to be.

Sahib has spent the last five years running Office Bar & Bistro right here in Kitimat, building a reputation for warm hospitality and a genuine love for his community. But his roots in Indian cuisine go back much further — fifteen years ago he launched his very first restaurant, a successful Indian takeout operation also called Tandoori Grill. Through recessions, a global pandemic, and every challenge the industry could throw at him, Sahib learned what it truly takes to adapt and thrive.

Anurag brings a different kind of fire. A brand consultant turned food entrepreneur, he launched a ready-to-eat frozen food brand in India before taking his passion for bold, authentic flavours to Vancouver — where he built Tikka Gali, bringing Delhi-style street food to a whole new audience.

Now, together, they are reviving the spirit of Tandoori Grill in Kitimat — combining Sahib's years of local hospitality with Anurag's deep roots in Indian food culture to bring something genuinely special to this community.
